In 2002, his infatuation with Purple Sands, like an endless wind, completely enveloped his deeply shaken heart. As a result, Lei Gang left his hometown where he had lived for sixteen years to start his Purple Sands career in Yixing, the "City of Ceramics".
In 2008, he was apprenticed by Fan Weiqun, a researcher level senior craftsman and artist (provincial master), with his excellent basic skills.
Due to the creation of a state of mind and the use of hands to manipulate the mind, the representative works in recent years have created a unique and spiritual atmosphere through the creation of a series of works, expressing the combination of "emotion" and "scenery". One is the atmosphere, the other is the contemplation (Zen realm), and the other is the sentiment.
The series mainly focuses on conveying emotions to the gods, with a focus on prose and mainly on chanting objects.
